Raw Food: Start with raw

An optimal raw/living food diet is as follows: organic, unprocessed, varied, contains many enzymes, vitamins, antioxidants and minerals, is vegetable, chlorophyll-rich, with plenty of plant proteins, a high moisture content (fresh juice), essential fats with the appropriate salts and vegan (or at least a very low consumption of raw meat, raw fish, raw milk also good for pets, etc.), and a lot of water. Preferably eat your fruits and vegetables that are ripe, seasonal and local origin. Many people are deficient in B-12 and vitamin D (it is not only the case with people raw or vegetarian/Korean food), it is also advisable to take it as a supplement upon. In the summer, you get enough vitamin D from the sun.

I in 2008 “cold turkey” started with raw food. But I had first gathered a lot of information, I read on the Internet, books, watched movies, workshops done, etc. to be prepared. I can advise everyone: the bottom of the article are some of the sources I used. The dinner that I made on the first day of my raw food adventure was a Thai soup I all possible raw vegetables that I could find did in not knowing that large pieces of raw broccoli are not ideal to eat so. Nuts and seeds are as it were ‘awakened’, they are sweeter, less bitter and easier to digest.

The first steps
Do you like me also to board one time to raw fear not if you get a headache, for instance, especially if you drink a lot of juices going. These are detox symptoms because your body is no longer as heavily taxed as when eating cooked food. This gives it a chance to clean itself and will release toxins there. Make sure at times like this that you drink a lot (filtered) water. Also, the use of Chlorella helps to bind released toxins and drain. Do not you want to change at once “Cold Turkey”? Then do not 100% raw, but keep the 80% raw and 20% cooked ratio. This may mean that you have one meal per day, for example, your evening meal, do not eat raw. With such a relationship you can still achieve optimal performance.

Raw route
During the process more raw food, be especially kind to yourself and be attentive to your spouse health when you have a moment where you fall back into an old (unhealthy) diet. Especially in the beginning it can be difficult to say “no” too addictive foods such as sugar, coffee, bread, etc. This is human! Try to find alternatives for this you already like to eat, such as your favorite fruit, smoothies, nuts, raw cocoa or whatever. Make a list of all the reasons why you’re going to eat raw and hang it on the fridge for inspiration.
